No More DVIR’s Needed for Driver Inspections With No Defects.
The DOT will no longer require drivers to complete a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and will no longer require a Motor Carrier to maintain these DVIR’s for three months, for those inspections in which the driver found no defects requiring repairs or corrections.
